Know all men by these presents that weGeorge
W Johnson as principal and Jonathan Duncan
& Aaron M Parker as securities are held and firmly
bound into the state of MifsouriMissouri in the Just
and full sum of one Thousand Dollars
for the payment of which sum well and truly
to be made we bind ourselves our heirs and
legal representatives. WitnefsWitness our hands and seals
at St Louis this 7th day of December AD 1846
The Condition of the above obligation in such that
whereas the County Court of the County of
St Louuis have this day granted tot he said
George W. Johnson, a free man of Colour,
a license to reside in the state of MifsouriMissouri
Now if the said George W. Johnson shall be
of good behaviour and deport himself as an
orderly Citizen then this bond to be void
otherwise to remain in full force & virtue
