Know all Men by These Presents,
That we, Thomas Edwards as prinipal, and
George R Robinson as
securities,
are held and firmly bound unto the State of Missouri, in
the just and
full sum of fivehundred
Dollars, lawful money of the
United States, for the payment of which we
bind ourselves, our heirs, executors
and administrators, firmly by
these presents, sealed with our seals, and
dated this third day of
November A.D.
1859
The condition of the above Obligation is such, that whereas, the said
Thomas Edwards has
applied to the County Court
Comissioner
of St. Louis
County for, and obtained a license to reside in the State of
Missouri,
during good behavior: Now, if the said applicant shall be of
good
character and behavior during his residence
in the State of
Missouri, then this obligation to be void, else of full
force and virtue.

Description
about 21 years; 5 feet 7 3/4 inches high; well built; has a slightly
black scar on his forehead about an inch above the inner point
of his left eyebrow; also a scar about an inch in length on
his right wrist: + by occupation a dragman and who was
heretofore emancipated by George R Robinson.
