Know all men by these presents that we
Patrick Jamison as principal and Duncan S
Carter as security, are held and firmly bound
unto the State of MifsouriMissouri in the sum of Two
hundred Dollars to the payment of which we bind
ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators
and each and very of them firmly by these presents

Sealed with our seals and dated this third day of May in the year eighteen hundred and forty three_ The condition of this obligation
is such_ That whereas on the second day of May of the year above written the County Court of
the County of St Louis and State of MifsouriMissouri
granted to the said Patrick Jamison lic-
ense to reside within said State of MifsouriMissouri

Now if the said Patrick Jamison shall, during
his residence in said state, well deport and
conduct himself during h as a good and orderly
citizen then this obligation to be void, otherwise to
remain [ ifn ] full force and effect in law
