Know all men by these presents that we
Clemson Meachum as principal and Berry
Meachum as security are held & firmly
bound unto the State of MifsouriMissouri in the
sum of four hundred dollars that is to
say the said Clemson Meachum in
the sum of two hundred dollars and the
said Berry Meachum in the sum of
two hundred dollars to the payment
whereof we hereto bind ourselves.

The condition of the above obligation
is such that whereas the said Clemson
has this day been licensed by the County
Court of S Louis County to remain in the
State of MifsouriMissouri as provided by Law
Now if the said Clemson shall be of
good behavior then this obligation to be
void else to remain in full force
