servant Mary has taken a notion to
go to St. Louis to live after being with
us 15 years_ We feel obliged to re
-commend her as a faithful trustly
and competent_ She can be trusted in
any thing. If the authorities should re-
quire security for her good conduct
you will buy me under obligations
if you would her_ I will be
rsponsible to you_
We are all in usual health having
escaped through a kind Providence th cholera
Why cannot you let us see you on the
it but as a passenger.
