Influences - Kate Ascher "The Works: Anatomy of a City" Artist Statement - 314-768-2805 focuses on my annoyance with the roads in St. Louis, specifically the potholes. The book investigates nine potholes in an eight-block neighborhood in St. Louis. Accompanying the book is a comparative poster with information on how potholes are formed, pothole’s relatives, and an in-depth visual comparison of the nine potholes.
