Influences - "This is Not Grass" fundraising project book. Peer
desensitization. Artist Statement - Over the course of one semester my notion of activism evolved to a manageable form of change. Activism is defined as an intentional action to bring about social or political change. This book is a form of change that focuses on the perception of war or lack there of. Through out history, desensitization towards war increased through multiple forms of distraction. These pages were developed to invoke an emotion that has been lost over time. It serves as a personal evaluation that is essential during times of conflict. Use this book to activate your emotions and take this opportunity to motivate others by distributing the provided postcard pages.
